Other Mob (hurts me to say), and last year's to us, along with our second Oceania League title, and the Young Fullas (Youth League) title. The top-of-the-table local derby has quickly become a
bitter battle indeed!

There is some decent Scottish players coming through but.....most now don't get picked up by EPL clubs to progress.

Scott Brown, Shaun Maloney, Steven Fletcher to name a couple.


Problem is the whole coaching they receive from the age 8 upwards.

Too much empahise on power rather than skill.

oh well...its ok, theyre doing...ok:D not in the relegation zone so not too bad but they are having the highest money spending stuff on player contracts in teh league

Yeah - quite a surprise, tbh. The Phoenix are coming up to play Waitakere United this Saturday, as our lads are away to the Club World Cup in Japan next month, and need a decent hit-out or two -
only Auckland City are a real challenge in the NZFC.
