Anyone looking to shop on the cheap at the Cardiff City Stadium has been told not to bother unless the money matches the value place on the player by Cardiff City football club.In the press today took the opportunity to remain any watching clubs eyeing midfielder Joe Ledley that they won’t sell him on the cheap. With the premiership kicking off today pressure on the managers crank up a notch or two, with four schedule games before the closing of the transfer window Monday 31st at midnight. It starts to go crazy in the transfer market the closer to the shutting of the window, it happened to Ledley last season when Stoke came in later with a £6m bid.Dave Jones is keen along with the club to get the right price for is players and with Ledley who will be out of contract at the end of the season the club will be pursuing full compensation it Ledley for one reason or another don’t sign and a tribunal as to decided. I have never heard the club losing a player to a tribunal decision being overly happy with the outcome but all this will be surpassed if Ledley signs a new contract.“We will keep working away to persuade Joe to extend his contract," Dave Jones told the South Wales Echo.“If it does eventually go to a tribunal it could be one of the biggest disputes.“We turned down an offer of £6m last season, while Joe’s agent talked about a get-out clause if he was to sign a new deal.“That figure wasn’t acceptable to Cardiff City, but if it goes to a tribunal then surely any compensation would be that amount at least.“I can’t speak for a tribunal, but that’s how I see things.“Hopefully it won’t get to that stage and, certainly, he will be a Cardiff player until somebody makes an offer at the right level.”
